Analysis of the effectiveness
of the Russian Football
Academies

For the period
from 2006 to 2016
This report was compiled from the information got from the open sources without involvement of Academies' employees. It covers time span from 2006 to 2016.
There are no 2017 graduates in the report.
The data is relevant for the moment of 2nd August 2017. For example, Ivan Ignatjev played 90 minutes and scored a goal in the 5th round of RFPL for Krasnodar, but it is not shown in the report.
Number of graduates
Only players signed their professional contracts are in this report. As a rule, they sign them with U-21 teams. Sometimes they are involved with a senior team directly.
In this report, we consider a player "a graduate" if he spent his graduation year before signing his first professional contract in that particular club's Academy. The data where and how long he played before was ignored. For example, if a player was in FC Dinamo Academy, then he moved to the FC Spartak Academy and finished it signing his first professional contract; he would be considered as FC Spartak Academy's graduate. This explains low amount of Chertanovo Football Academy graduates, as they often go to other football academies before finishing their own.
